IUI Treatment in Goa

Washed, concentrated sperm is placed directly in the uterus around the time of ovulation. Available at Sunshine IVF Centre, Mapusa, North Goa.

What is IUI?

IUI (intrauterine insemination) is a simple fertility treatment in which processed (washed) sperm is placed directly inside the uterus using a thin catheter, timed close to ovulation. It is often combined with ovulation-inducing medicines and follicular monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

IUI is usually painless and takes only a few minutes. Some women feel mild cramping, similar to a Pap test.
This depends on age, the cause of infertility and test results. Many doctors review the plan after about three cycles. Your doctor will advise you based on your situation.
At least one healthy, open fallopian tube is needed for IUI. Tubal patency is usually checked with an HSG test before IUI.
