Treatments
Freezing eggs, sperm or embryos to keep the option of parenthood open for the future. Available at Sunshine IVF Centre, Mapusa, North Goa.
Fertility preservation means freezing eggs (oocyte cryopreservation), sperm (sperm cryopreservation) or embryos so they can be used later. Frozen samples are stored in liquid nitrogen at −196°C.
Ovarian reserve (AMH, scan) or semen analysis, plus infection screening.
Eggs are collected after ovarian stimulation, similar to IVF; sperm is collected as a semen sample.
Samples are frozen by vitrification or controlled freezing and stored securely.
When you are ready, eggs are thawed and fertilised (usually by ICSI), or embryos are thawed for transfer.

Eggs and sperm are combined in the laboratory and a resulting embryo is placed in the uterus.
