This Privacy Notice explains how Sunshine IVF Centre (“we”, “us”), located at Vision Hospital New Wing (Opp. Max), Third Floor, Duler Ground Road, Karaswada, Mapusa, Goa 403507, collects and uses your personal data through this website, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. We act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.

1. What personal data we collect

• Appointment and contact requests: name, phone number, email address (optional), preferred doctor, preferred date and any short message you choose to enter.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and — only if you consent — analytics cookies.

We do not ask for medical reports, diagnoses or identity documents through this website. Please do not submit them online; bring them to your consultation.

2. Why we use it (purpose)

• To respond to your enquiry and schedule, confirm or reschedule appointments.
• To keep the website secure and working properly.
• With your separate consent only: to understand website usage through analytics.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use website enquiries for unrelated marketing.

3. Consent

We process the data you submit on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our forms. Consent is free, specific and can be withdrawn at any time by emailing sunshineivfgoa@gmail.com or calling +91 90671 65837. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and it will be as easy as giving consent. Cookie preferences can be changed at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.

4. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian.

5. Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run this website and communications (for example, our web hosting provider and email provider), acting on our instructions under appropriate safeguards; and with authorities when required by law. Data may be stored on servers located in or outside India, as permitted under the DPDP Act.

6. How long we keep it

Website enquiries are kept for up to 12 months after your last interaction and then deleted, unless you become a patient — in which case your medical records are maintained as required by applicable medical and ART laws. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days unless needed for security investigations.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls, regular updates and backups to protect personal data. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected persons and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may: (a) request a summary of your personal data and how it is processed; (b) request correction, completion, updating or erasure of your data; (c) withdraw consent; (d) raise a grievance; and (e) nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer below. We will respond within the time required by law.
